These are the critical requirements we believe should be taken should you choose to embark on this project and retain our services.
• Clear and strong branding of your submitted materials
• Your business plan must demonstrate capacity to operate the business. Currently there is strong technical capacity to carry out the services. We would transfer the existing information onto a standard business plan template and augment the content with an emphasis on key business elements e.g. risk assessment, sustainability plans etc.
• Provide a strong alignment between the business and priorities of federal and local government
• We would propose that you dedicate a section to how the business will operate under the prevailing COVID-19 environment.
• A budget summary will be included in the business plan
• A separate and detailed financial projection will be prepared. This will involve transferring existing financial data onto an Excel template providing a quarterly breakdown of income and expenses
Step 1: Assessment Our team will carry out an assessment through interviews and review of documents to collect information and gain an understanding about your business, market, processes, regulatory framework, capacity and growth plans.
Step 2: First Draft of Business Plan and Budget Projections Developed. The next step is to provide you with a draft of revised documents for your review, corrections and amendments. This will be followed by another meeting to ensure full understanding of the changes and enhancements to be made to the draft.
Step 3: Preparation of Final Draft The writing team will prepare a final draft which will be presented in a formal virtual meeting. If required (at additional cost), our team will provide relevant implementation tools such as policy drafts and financial management recommendations.
Step 4: Accountability and Support Throughout the process, we will continuously check in with you to get additional information or verifications.
Our fee is charged on a per diem rate, 25% is paid in advance and the balance is due at each milestone. The final 25% is due within seven days of receiving the final documents. The client is responsible for paying for the services of other providers that we retain on your behalf whose hiring you have approved. Their accounts may be given to you directly or we will forward invoices to you directly for payment. Typical charges are for such expenses as logo development, binding, stock images etc. Tax is charged at 13% (Ontario).
